Hi all.' Iv just finished making a tipping trailer
I sprayed it with an undercoat with a cheap spray gun and compressor
I want to put a good tough paint on it with either a paint brush or preferably the spray gun
Any ideas on type of paint or product
    Thanks

The problem with spraying is that you have to thin the paint a lot and obviously it’s not as good a job then.

If you have the time and patience, then brush on with oxide and it’s a great job. A wide roller will speed up the job too.

    Thanks for that
I'll probably end up doing that
Somebody else suggested 2 pac paint but I know lite about it

Unless you are setup for 2pac paint forget about it you'll poison yourself without air fed mask.

Rollers a good option just get the right type for oil based paint. You can get a really good finish with roller.

    Marine paint might work, https://www.lowes.com/pd/Rust-Oleum-Marine-Coatings-Black-Gloss-Enamel-Oil-Based-Marine-Paint-Actual-Net-Contents-32-fl-oz/3200859

I used something like it a few years ago, it was fine for everything except the floor of the trailer, I don't anything DIY will last for long there.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Floor will look after itself if used often.
