    Hi folks

Are there any specific driving lessons you can get to help with parking, spacial awareness, road position?

Also how to properly drive a car with a manual gearbox? I mean change down and up when appropriate etc?

    Thanks,
    Mick

What you're looking for is a driving instructor.

Any qualified, registered driving instructor should be able to do all that you list.

No it's more than general driving. It's someone that might have say cones set up that would help with reverse parking skills, tips on how to judge road position, where your car stops, improving judgement. It's a bit more than the sort of driving lessons I've had in the past.
    Thanks,
    Mick

    I'm genuinely baffled.

Everything you want to do, is what's required for the driving test.

Just get a few more driving lessons.. maybe try a different instructor than you originally used.

Other than that, it's something that you learn over time.

Or you could read a book called Road Craft.

Institute of advanced motorists or RoSPA instructor is what you're looking for I think.

The best courses can't be legally conducted on the public road, unless you work for a certain public service.

That's the problem in this country, most people use the EDT to pass the test not learn to drive. There's nothing stopping you going back to your ADI and asking them to teach you how to drive now that you've passed the test. Don't forget that driving is a constant learning experience.

Try approaching a local driving school and ask for some lessons tailored specifically to what you want to improve on.

Any good driving instructor should be able to teach you all of those skills. Depending on your location someone should be able to recommend someone

OP, have you learnt to drive, or completed any lessons here? All of what you ask is covered in the lessons, and assessed in your driving test by the examiner.

    Edit...

Maybe not driving around cones, but am sure if you asked the instructor nicely, he/she might accommodate.
