    Hi

I’ve come across some completely blocked land drains.

Anyone know somebody that jets these field drains around Cavan/Leitrim?

    Don’t know of anyone
Would it be worth trying sewer pipes? Or the power washer with the bullet end?

There was someone on done deal a couple of years ago offering that service. I’m almost certain he was in Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo. He seemed to have a good outfit. If anyone knows who he is, I could do with him too.....

We use the sewer rods here too. The problem is usually in the first couple of metres, vegetation grows back along inside the pipe.

Did a few drains last year.
Las said to cut few 4ft lengths of wavin and drive them up over ends of land drainage.
Makes finding them for maintenance easier and less grass grows across them.

    Thought it was good idea.
