I super liked a guy from work on tinder. We didn't match though so just don't know how to face him now. We haven't spoken much so I'm very embarrassed

First of all relax and take a breath!! Ok,so you super liked him. He'll get a notification telling him he was "superliked" he'll scroll through and your profile will pop up with the super liked border.....he'll either swipe left or swipe right.
    It's a dating site,that's what people do....
There is absolutely no need for you to be embarrassed, is the issue that you're afraid that he'll tell work mates that you "superliked" him? Cos if he's that kind of guy you're better off that ye didn't match.
To be fair he might not even be aware at this that he was "superliked".
As for not knowing how to face him.......just the same way you have faced him every other time your paths have crossed.

    Don't worry about it OP.

    It will fine.

Firstly the vast majority of people have no clue what super like is. Secondly it is the most subtle thing so 99% miss it. If you superlike someone they aren't told who did it. When they see your profile the bottom is blue.. No other giveaway and so small that it is rarely noticed.. So don't be worrying.

Don’t they have to actually like you in order to see you super liked them?

So if he finds out you super liked him, he’s obviously swiped like

No... If someone superlike you there will be a blue bar underneath their photo where there name is... Most wouldn't notice.

Most supelikes are accidental..everyone knows this its a slip of the finger..just act like nothing happened.

Suppose it's just my imagination running riot!
I'm new there so yeah I just think it could be very awkward in canteen especially....as he may have told the others who work there

You can always play it as " i recognised you from work so of course i had to throw you a superlike for the craic!" if it ever comes up

Wouldn't worry about it. It would be a crappy thing for him to do but sometimes you have to put yourself out there.

I love this response! So confident and intriguing. I would be so attracted to someone with this ‘what the hell’ attitude!

Either he fancies you and will be flattered or doesn't and won't care. Either way not a big deal.

I wouldn’t worry too much. You’re both on Tinder. It’s a small world and tinder works by geographic proximity . You’ll always run into people you know on it.

If he likes you back and you’re into him - great! If not, your finger slipped or you were just saying hello. It’s tinder!

Also, he might not be very active on the app and might not notice it for ages.
I'm a long term singleton and dip in and out of Tinder every few months... I've come across a few friends of friends on it and the odd work person and I have thrown some of them a like 'for the craic' in the past. No harm done.
