    Just wondering what an AA from a beef herd would kill out.% wise.There stock ive not killed in a while. Would you get low to mid 50's

    Getting around 56 last time I checked, that's for bulls u 24 mths.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    A lot would depend on the cows they came from and the cows used. If off AAXFr cows and an easy calving bull they might struggle to grade R- and K/O would be in the 50-52% bracket. However if off BBXFR cows or 3/4 bred sucklers LM cows bred off a real good quality AA bull then you might hit R+/U- grade cattle hitting 55% K/O.

    A lot depends on the amount of finish on AA as they are often a smaller frame it can really pay to carry them to 4- FS as can be easy enough to do. they camn really pile on the weight in such a case. Grading can go from O+ to R- and value of animal can increase a nice bit. However some of the progeny of easy calving bulls weight gain is horrific being down at 500grams/day
