Google new account question.

    Apologies if in wrong forum.

    Using PC I tried to create a new e-mail account with Google.
    Page 1 of the process straightforward.
    At page 2 they want my phone number to send me a 6 digit verification code.

    I never gave Google my phone number for several other e-mail accounts I have with them.
    For practical reasons I only access my e-mails via PC.

    Is there any work around whereby I can create a new Google e-mail account without the need to give them my number ? All my other e-mail accounts are cross referenced as back up for each other.
