I decided to give Sky to another go and rejoined in march. They have amazing sales people who promise you the moon and the stars. The reality is not so amazing and the support staff less again. I was treated appallingly this morning by a support staff member, and then a "manager". Rewind back a few months where my broadband started playing up and I was fobbed off by a support member. Who basically just didn't reply to my last message. That was the middle of August, it's still not fixed btw. But then most recently, in a separate incident, I was hit with a late payment. So I rang today to query this. I started very calm, but from the off go I was being provoked, implications were made that I was a liar, that I was dishonest and that I was completely stupid. The first guy said the late payment was because I didn't pay augusts bill. After my insistence it was proved that I did in fact pay this bill. So late payment extinguished? Wrong. The late payment in fact was for September 1st bill which fell on a Sunday. I was supposed to phone them up that day and pay over the phone. So a €12.50 fine for this, not mentioning the hikes they sneak in. So getting away from the whole rip off part of sky,s actions, I'm completely annoyed of the way I was treated . I'm sick of these big guy companies bullying the small guy and although it's still fresh, I'm determined to take this further. I have listened back to the recorded calls and have viewed photographs taken of the messaging conversations. I did this so that I could calmly review the situation, but to be honest it made me more angry hearing the way I was provoked and being made feel stupid.

Sky will send you a letter if there is a balance due and no payment method on file. They also put up a notification on your TV saying that it will be disconnected in X amount of days. As a customer, it is up to you to ensure that your bill is paid on time when it's due.

What exactly happened this morning? I may see a customer support staff treating you badly, but not a manager.

YES I would definitely agree with you
Absolutely they have no idea how to treat their existing customers No wonder a lot of people are cancelling their subscription

    Skoda Octavia 590-litres
    or
    Skoda Superb 625 litres
are the ones to go for if you need a big boot.
