I see only half of the beef farmers applied for the 100 euro per animal payment could they not divert the remaining money to the sheep farmers .

Don’t think it’d be as easy as that to divert it but then there might not be many sheep farmers apply either. It’d all depend on the terms and conditions. Having to reduce numbers is the big issue stopping more beef lads applying I’d say
