Corolla rear shock aborber banging when driving / sitting up too high in boot

2006 Corolla rear shock absorber has started banging - didn't hit a bump at the time or else but when looking at both rear shocks from the boot one is sitting up far higher than the other
Wheel arches are sitting at the more or less the correct height
Any suggestions as to whether it is likely to be the mounting that needs to be replaced or the shock itself or the coil spring?

I'd be nigh on certain it's the top mount that's failed.

On closer inspection it looks as if that is the case alright - Thanks for the reply
