Chatting up women on the bus

Is it okay? Think I had a previous thread on this one but the thing is, it's a bit different this time. Moved to a commuter belt city last December and you can help but notice the same few attractive women (interestingly in the 40s/50s camp).

A lot of you were saying to go ahead with striking a conversation and who knows where it'll lead. If it goes bad, sure you can just forget about the random stranger. But see here the bus I take is a coach and about 50% of the people are regular users. Worse people here know each other so if I come across as a creep, these ladies will be telling all their friends about this weird 20yr old lad chatting them up.

    What do you think?

You might as well. If it's regulars you'll see again you might as well befriend them first. Don't go in with the intention of "chatting them up". Nothing to lose really
