Oil and range heating water and radiators

I have an oil burner that heats radiators up/down stairs and water. There was a range fitted afterwards in the house that is also heating the same radiators and water.
Currently up grading the oil burner to a newer model.
Wanted to put in eph controller with Wi-Fi to control the zones but plumber says it's not possible with range as the motorised valve had to be taken out.
Is there any way around this to have the zones without having to use separate switches.

You could use a buffer tank.
The stove and boiler heat the buffer tank and the radiators etc draw heat from the buffer tank as they need it

Also makes it really easy to add solar heating at a later date if you want to
