    Does anyone in Sligo town with a DAB radio able to receive stations from FREEDAB? Its a new digital radio service although I'm not sure that they are launched here yet,they haven't answered my email!

    Freedab mux turned on in Sligo yesterday according to a post in the Radio forum! Can anyone in town with a DAB set try and tune in and see what’s available? I tried in Ballisodare but it’s not picking up anything, maybe only geared towards the town.

    There is a DAB signal available. A number of channels displayed but not all working. Adds are for places in spain.

    There are nine stations listed but only 4 will play.I managed to pick up the signal in Ballisodare from the front of the house facing Sligo.Its great to have DAB at last in the NW!

    Freedab have put up another mast on the Ox Mountains out the Ballina road and also increased the power of the Sligo one!

    Tried dab service on my radio, got two channels , neither great quality.

    I’m in Ballisodare and can pick up 11 stations although they are not all playing as they are still testing.
