Can't register as a user ?

One of my mates in work want to register as a boards user but he can't. He asked me about it and I had a look but I can't see what he's doing wrong. When he goes to new user - he enters a username, click the terms and conditions box, but all the options to use Gmail, Facebook, email etc are disabled. Is he missing…

One of my mates in work want to register as a boards user but he can't.
He asked me about it and I had a look but I can't see what he's doing wrong.

When he goes to new user - he enters a username, click the terms and conditions box, but all the options to use Gmail, Facebook, email etc are disabled.

Is he missing something ?

Hi there,

If the box to the right of the username goes red, they will need to select an alternative username. It needs to be green which indicates that the username is available to use. If they continue to have issues, please tell them to email hello@boards.ie.
