Sick cert query

    Does anyone know if you have a sick cert for a certain number of days but you go into work on one of those days can you you substitute it for another day?

    No. A sick cert outlines that you were unfit to work between to points of time.

    If you go back in on one of those days the company is opening it self up issues.

    Ok. I was thinking of a time previously when I got a sick cert when on annual leave. I was able to use the annual leave another day. Thought the same thing might apply

    I agree very strongly with this.

    We would normally never allow an employee to work if they have been signed off on sick leave. The situation could be potentially manipulated to have heavy blowback on the employer.
