Diesel auto recommendations

    Currently driving a 12 Kia C'eed diesel manual. Looking to buy an automatic as I'm not a huge fan of "driving" in city traffic and my other half is struggling with a manual and might be her best chance to learn to drive.

    Commute is 500km a week with M50 and some motorway driving.Also some cross country trips once a month. Budget around 10-12k including my own as trade in / private sale.

    Was thinking Ford focus / Mondeo, Skoda Octivia or another Kia C'eed?

    Any other recommendations for Diesel autos in the price range?
