ipad 4th gen late 2012 wont connect to f2000 ftth

This has me foxed my ipad 4th gen wont connect to F2000 anymore. I can enter PW and see its connected in the router but it wont connect to the internet. I have a old netgear and it connects to that ok. I know the 4th gen dont do 5ghz but is it something to do with ipv6? And as a 6 year old item is it Apple again ie make it…
