Satellite and Lightning

    Lightning on Saturday caused my rcd protected sockets to trip. I've a main surge protection fitted but still caused my rcd protection on the socket circuit to trip. It was a huge bang over the house. Never hear anything like it.

    Since then there is no signal on the satellite dish. The receivers still switch on. They were switched off at the wall before the lightning started.

    What do you suggest? A new LNb?

    Possibly LNB, or tuner in the box. Can you test the box on family/neighbour's dish or test your dish with a spare or borrowed box.
