MoBo USB Unsupported, Will PCI-e Card Work?

    So a while ago i built a PC for my Dad. He wanted to stick with Win7 and I failed to do my proper research and ended up with a motherboard that doesnt have USB drivers for anything older than Win10, so he has no USB at all.

    My question is, if i got a PCI-e USB card would this work?
