Motor Accident Sunday @ M7/M9 Split

There was an accident on the turn-off to the M9 from the M7 on Sunday morning when a pick up truck which had taken the M7 proceeded to drive through the considerable amount of traffic cones (part of the construction works) to get back on to the M9 turn-off, he entered the slip road slowly and without looking, a BMW 5 series had to take evasive action and ended up in the ditch - i think he managed to avoid hitting anything though - including the pick-up.

Either way, I witnessed it all but of course couldn't safely stop (had kids with me/motorway etc.). If the driver is on boards and needs a witness let me know.

Can't for the life of me understand the big delay with finishing this off?

Report it to Naas Garda Divisional HQ 045 884311.

The Divisional HQ in Naas or anywhere else is an office populated by a bunch of 9 to 5 pen-pushers who work for the Chief Supt. They are the last people you want to be talking to.

I would find out which shift was on duty at the time of the accident, then I'd phone the public office the next time they're on to see if anyone on that shift took a report of the accident.

Well then, 045 884 300 is a number I had for the Naas Station - maybe try that.
