    Hi all,

I recently sold my car privately as I was struggling to get as much as I wanted on a trade in. As a result I'm car-less and looking for some inspiration!

I'm driving 400 km a week on a commute (country roads) and I'm tall..

My previous car was an Insignia. Love the Mazda 6, but have ruled it out due to reports of the diesel engine not being great.

Looking at Mondeo and Superb for reliability and size /comfort. Reading mixed reports on passats? Think the Jetta may be too small for me.

Looking for 2013 onwards and would prefer if it was 2.0L.

I'm finding the cars on offer in what I'm looking for are limited enough.

    Any suggestions for me?

There's a nice 132 2 litre dsg superb on carzone for 10995, can't link as I'm on the phone.

I’m 6’1 and the Octavia is plenty big. Bigger cabin than the old model Insignia I think.

Do you need an Insignia/Passat/Superb sized car? I find the Golf very comfortable, do the odd 2 hour drive every now and then without any issues, I'm 6'4.

I'd go for a DSG gearbox doing that mileage.

    Go to the UK.

Well I'm 6'4" and I suppose I'm only going on my own thinking that I need something big to get comfort!

Would have considered the UK alright, but time is against me somewhat now, being without a car

    What's the DSG gearbox benefit?

The car changes gears for you.
