Adblue error A6 Ultra

    Hi All,

    My car is a 2014 Audi A6 2.0TDI Ultra.

I refilled my adblue last Tuesday. Using about 2 litres of old adblue I had laying around, and 10L of new adblue from Halfords.
On Friday on the motorway I got an error " Adblue system fault, no restart 1000km"
I did a fault scan when I got home and the engine control module had a trouble code logged " P204F00 - Reductant System Performance Bank 1 static". I cleared this error and bought some more adblue and filled the tank right to the top. I drove the car around for a while but the Adblue fault countdown continues, I'm at 750km now. The trouble code has not returned on the engine control module.
I also tried a hard reset on the Reductant control module, that didn't help. I pulled the fuse out for the engine control module and reductant control module for a few hours to see if that reset anything, it didn't.
I can't find any adaption's that I can reset to fix the issue. Does anybody have idea's?

Has you car had the notorious software update, some are reporting issues after that.

Hopefully you just need better / oem scanner to do full reset, don't find the pull the fuse reset works as much on newer cars.

I had this issue in Sept, fixed in main dealer. They didn't really explain what they fixed, so guessing it was a resetting via software.

Happened again last week. I got AdBlue from Halfords and it didn't reset.

VW dealer told me shop/garage may not be up to the spec, which I found odd given it's urea etc.

Am now out of warranty so will have to cough up this time.
