Immobilizer light, Hyundai Tucson

    hi,

    Hyundai Tucson 06 2.0 CRDi

Cut out while I was driving up a steep hill, doing 100kph in 4th.
It didn't restart. I checked the dash and the immobilizer light was on.
Checked the oil, oil level very low.(I didnt get an oil light even though it was very low) Half filled it with oil 30 mins later and it started and I drove it for approx 1 mile, pulled in to a layby where it cut out again. It restarted but cut out once more.

I have done a bit of research online and there is mention of the crankshaft sensor causing this.

I wonder has anyone had this experience?
