    Hey

I ordered a few spare micro usb cables off Amazon but none of them will work with charger.
Am I missing something here, should they not be compatible?
Any help for this confused one appreciated.

Yes, they should do. Have you tried using any connecting the phone to a pc/laptop to see if it's the cables ? Or the charger with any other device ?

The s6 is known for having dodgy charging ports. I worked as a phone repair technician for years and saw loads of them. It's a very awkward job to replace it as the screen has to be removed..

Did you buy from Amazon, Amazon fulfilled or a 3rd party seller? The 1st 2 you have a good chance of getting genuine cables, they can still be crap, 3rd party seller's are risky.

How much did you pay for them and what brand? I've got cables that'll charge a phone in a week vs ones that give higher voltage but still nowhere near the fast charging from the OEM cable. Even the other day in work I gave a loan of a cable/charger that worked on my phone but not the other person's

Yea I swapped around cables alright. Seems to be the cables that are the problem.
