Any idea why the plan never went ahead? Was given permission seven years ago.

Maybe the nearby upcoming development of O' Devaney Gardens has led to some reconsideration?

Hmm dont like the look of that proposal too much. The existing building is quite charming and addresses the street corner and sloping hill nicely, could it not be retained?
