Declaring rent + Collage and Medical claims

I have to to a tax return of 2018 declaring rent i made that year, i also have collage fees i want to claim and medical and doctors receipts.

Are these all carried out on the same form or separate ones.

We used to do the med 1 form but this is the first time i declared rent.

Assuming the net rental profits are below 5k, use your normal Form 12 tax return.

Make sure you calculate your nett rental profit correctly, taking any allowable expenses from your gross rental income.

i got a electric shower fitted about 12 months before renting, that is the only expense i have. 900euro

9 months of rent for 2018.

If you are paying a mortgage on the property you may be able to offest a significant amount of the mortgage interest as an expense against the rental income. There may also be other allowable expenses.
