I have 3 door Megan its an 11 only 55thousand k on it,
I'm looking to basically straight swap it for a bigger car , I need a 4 door for the kids, anyone know any good dealers who would be open to a straight swap ,

I'd be looking for an old Qashqai or anything with a bit of room for a run around second car ,

I doubt any dealer would do a straight swap. And if the did they'd give you a much lower value then what it's actually worth. Sell it privately for a good price then buy the exact car you want.

Almost unheard off unless the swap is for a car of lesser value, dealers want to make money on each sale. Best off sell your car privately then you go in as a cash buyer. Plenty of Qashqais around so you will find one quickly.

    Thanks for the heads up

, ill have a look and see how much its worth ,
Any you lads have an idea a Megane ,3 door , great condition and 55 thousand k on the clock ,

I'm guessing i'll have to put it up cheaper than the dealers are selling to stand a chance of moving it,

    Sorry its an 11

Brother bought a 2010 Ford focus from a friend in mine in 2017...he couldn't get any offers on it at his original asking of 7500 and dropped it gradually to 5500 and my bro got it for 5k. In around same kms as your one too. So I think that's your starting point anyway but realistically I think you've a 4 grand car on your hands in a private sale
If its in good condition then the low kms will mean it will have a buyer and quite quickly I'd say... But for a realistic price.

Friend got 8k private for a 2011 vw Tiguan last week so a 2011 can still command a few quid, but the vw badge and desirable suv made that move very quickly.
Megan 3 door, limited enough market but best of luck

Yours is below average mileage which should help sell it.
    Which spec level is it?
