Advice needed on selling car

I've already bought my new car as I couldn't be without one. I've got my old car up for sale which already needs a catalytic converter replacement and now the damn thing won't start. I've charged the battery and it's getting power but just not starting so maybe it's the starter motor now?

I don't want to spend anymore on it. It's a 08 Zafira with low enough millage so is it now time for me to give up and find one of those cash for cars crowds? Just want it gone now.

With the bad press these cars have with the fire in the Douglas car park, a cash for cars crowd might be your only choice at this stage. Just be careful though as a lot of these crowds can be shady enough, expect to get offered next to nothing for it too. Might be just easier to take it to a scrap yard rather than having those shady characters coming to your house.

Even in full working order is worth very little. Catalytic convertor will cost more than its worth, and you might still struggle to sell it. Take scrap value and run.
