    Hi,

    I'm going to be selling my Note 9 shortly and I seem to remember there's some built in security on Android phones that mean that only "authourised accounts" can use phones, whats the best way of resetting your phone to get it ready for a sale?

    Reset to factory reboot and use a throwaway gmail account giving the new owner the email and password and advise them to do the same when they get it but use their email

    Just reset it through the settings. Unlink your Samsung account then a full factory reset. No need for extra emails or anything. Once it's factory reset it'll be like new.
