I have this machine over a year. Lately I’ve been noticing the coffee waste is very damp and moist when it used to be dry. Is there a reason for this?

Is the solenoid valve bad? Maybe it's not soaking up the puck.

Same beans and grinder setting ?

I find some beans clog the the machine on a small grid setting.

I have another model. But mine is always damp since day 1 leading to mold etc.

Should it not be like this?

    Just to update.
Did a bit of you-tubing. I stripped down the piston mechanism, cleaned it all and put silicone gel on the large orange washers. Seems to have worked very well. I also turned the mill on with the beans back a notch or 2.
I’ve new orange washers ordered from eBay and I’ll change them if this issue arises again.
Hope this helps somebody in the future
