Kitchen Wall Tile Inspiration

In our house we have one kitchen/living room which is the only living area we have. It's painted soft hessian with ivory cupboards (and black marble effect worktops) and a red brick fireplace delimits the kitchen and living area.

After two years of searching, we've finally found some tiles that we'd like to use to tile under the kitchen cupboards:

In addition to the 4 patterned tiles, there are 2 plain - 1 ivory and 1 red. However, we're now struggling with finding a good pattern that is not overwhelming. The area we have to cover is approx 3.5 sq m - the attached image shows pretty much the entire area to be tiled.

So, we're kind of looking for some inspiration on how what pattern to layout the tiles in, without making them too overwhelming. Just wondering if anybody has any thoughts ? Or if anybody has ever put up anything similar to these before and has some pics they wouldn't mind sharing ?

Thanks for reading my long post, and thanks in advance for any advice :)
