hoping someone can shed some light.... first ford I have owned

    have a 2008 ford cmax 1.6TDCI 150k

    driving lovely
engine malfunction warning comes on, on start up.
plugged in code reader and got zero codes

like this for a couple months no problems

other day, it started losing power at the 3000rpm in any gear.
up to that everything seems normal

replaced the fuel filter (common on these i believe)
the Maf was a bit oily, cleaned it up wit cleaner, changed air filter,
    cant see any loose hoses...

any ideas what I should be looking for

Dpf fluid. Seen a few PSA engines that wont throw a code when the fluid reservoir is low/empty. you can get a refill of the fluid but may need resetting by a decent diagnostic setup.
