For one reason or another i havent had occasion to visit a tyre garage for probably 4 or 5 years at this stage for my own car.

My merc glc needs 2 new tires (19" 235/55 continentals i think)

where can i go on the southside that wont wreck my wheels and do competitive pricing on tyres?

    thanks

Some people recommend going to a place that also refurbishes alloys is that they will be more in tune with drivers like ourselves who like to not scratch the alloys.

Wheel Wizards was mentioned. Phoenix Tyres are good too in my experience but they are Dublin 1.

Make sure you ask the manger will they able to change the Tyres without scratching the alloys, show him the alloys beforehand as well.

I used Craig from No Pressure Tyres recently and found him excellent. He can come to you whenever suits and can order new tyres as well.

I have used James, who posts on this forum as Jimbis. Very decent, obliging guy.

A +1 for James. He runs Rowan Tyres, a mobile tyre service so you won't even have to drive anywhere to get your new tyres ;):D

+1 for Jimbis / Rowan Tyres. Have used him twice, and you can order tyres online yourself and get them delivered to him.
