Attaching a log cabin to my home.

    Hi all,

    I'm looking for some clarification with regard to the the above.

    We built onto our home in 2006 and applied for planning permission etc which was granted.

    We now need more space and have looked into the option of getting a log cabin attached to our existing.

    Would i be right in saying that we will have to apply for planning permission for this.

    Yes.
    The new construction will also need to meet the current Technical Requirements of the Building Regulations, Parts A-M.

    I haven't seen a Log Cabin attached that can comply yet ;)
