    Any thoughts about these lads?
Anyone experienced them? Can you get them in...if someone wanted to order...?

Would it be good enough for outside use in a back yard...?
What would you suggest for as little amount of money as possible...otherwise?

    Hi looperman1000,

Unfortunately I haven't seen the Philips Pico running. I have had a look at the reviews and they are not the best. A pocket size projector would not give the brightness or definition of a standard throw Full HD projector. Even using a normal projector outdoors will lose a good bit of contrast unless there is no ambient light.

I would recommend starting with something like the Optoma HD143X at £419. The Philips pocket projector has an ANSI rating of 50, the Optoma has a brightness rating of 3000 ANSI so would deal with brighter environments much better than the Philips.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David
