Do you reckon Tubs dyes his hair?

I mean it's believable that his hair could be like that at his age. But when I look at his eye brows I'm now beginning to wonder if his hair is dyed. I also can't picture him letting go grey, so I guess we'll never know at what point it will/has gone grey!

It would be good if he could use dye to change his personality.

Most TV folks dye the old gruaig. Often against their will. Usually encouraged to do so as it looks better under the TV lights when there is some colour in it.

He's forced to dye his hair by Marty Morrissey. Marty attempts to pluck his eyebows too but Tubs is having none of it.

After years of dyeing his mane brown, Marty Whelan was given the freedom to go grey to match Sinéad Kennedy's hair on Winning Streak.

Why would you even care about the hair of such a sanctimonious twat?

Is dying ones hair a big deal?

Absolutely it’s fifty shades of brown and you can see the difference in color as the LLS progresses. It goes from darker to kinda mousy a few weeks later then it’s dark again.

Who gives a fúck what that skeletal parasite does?

    Oh, wait, the Kennedy's might

    Of course.

My only gripe is if he is on half a million a year he could go to someone who would do a better job.

Who actually cares O.P, reminds of a wee town I used to live in where the auld gossips who knew everyone would be whisperin about people ‘’look at your man over there, would ya look at the cut of him, who does he think he is’’ seriously, who actually gives a flying **** about tubz hair!

I know this is a bit judgmental, but I couldn't take a man who dyes his hair seriously ( outside of showbiz or the media ). I know woman dye there hair and no one cares.

A group photo of 50 something-year-old man, the board of management of some company its the usual grey-haired men in suits, but one has a head of unnatural black hair it just looks so peculiar.

Tubs has been 62 years old since he was 8. True story.

I highly doubt that Tubridy dyes his hair. His cousins Barry Andrews.and David Mcsavage haven't really gone grey either, and they must be around the same age. And last time I saw him on TV, Tubridy's older brother still hadn't gone very grey. This kind of thing is highly genetic as you know.

But there's a better reason for believing that Tubs doesn't dye his hair brown. If Tubs were to dye his hair any colour, he'd choose go grey. The guy is a self-proclaimed young fogey. He ages in dog years. Tubridy probably thinks having any colour in your hair at all is a sign of immaturity.

    "Intriguing" and "bonkers"

All such TV people do the hair dye and makeup. I thought that was a given.

There is a decent normal guy in there somewhere. You see brief glimpses of it once in a blue moon, just out there on the horizon beyond the ridges of sanctimoniousness and faux intellectualism.

Trying to ride the crazy horse that is the Late Late Show in 2019 can only lead to trouble anyway. It should have been canned when Byrne walked. RTÉ were too scared to drop the 'brand' they had built. Mistake now in retrospect. Tubridy and his predecessor Kenny simply can't handle a lot of what is supposed to constitute the bastard hybrid of light entertainment and serious discussion and this effort to be all things to all people on a Friday evening.

He does say bonkers and intriguing a lot. I suppose we all have such tics.

I wouldn't say he dyes his bonce.

There's always an observable difference between skin tone and hair colour in men if there are Grecian 2000 type shenanigans at play and that's not at all noticeable with Tubridy.

Not all. I can't picture John Creedon at home carefully applying a box of 'Just for men' somehow.
