Pellet Stove flue diameter

I've recently bought a small pellet stove, a Ravelli "Aria". It has an 80mm flue connector on the back. I'm wondering if 80mm is suitable all the way out and up? I know some of the Stanley pellet stoves recommend 80mm only up to 1.5m from the stove, then go to 5" all the way to the cowl. I've seen others pellet stoves using 100mm to the storm cowl. Ravelli has some material on Italian regulations, but I'm hoping someone can tell me if there are any Irish regs stating a minimum flue diameter for pellet stoves, regardless of manufacturer?
