What in the name of God is GMP/GLP?

    And if that's all it really is, then why is there such a fuss made about it? If you're someone who's worked for years in a lab that doesn't happen to have GMP, then all of a sudden you're considered useless in the eyes of a certain employers, even though you can carry out all the procedures that are done in their 'GMP' labs.

    Initially I thought that it meant as it read... good laboratory practices. But what it really means is that you're company is accredited. Seeing as that's what it means, why can't they just say that? "Have you worked in an accredited company?" I once tried to look up examples of GMP and all I came across were these gigantic documents that referred to thousands of codes. And any time I tried to look up one of these codes all I got was a dead end!
