Cost putting in an upstairs bathroom?

    Hello,

Any idea of how much it might cost to get an unstairs boxroom turned into a bathroom?

It's an ex-council house in Crumlin. The boxroom is to the rear of the house and directly above the toilet room, which is just off the kitchen.

The idea would be to put in a bathroom upstairs and use the room-with-a-toilet and the room-with-a-bath on either side of the kitchen to make the tiny kitchen a bit bigger.

    Thank you.

I’d say you be looking at six to eight thousand... that’s just for the new bathroom. Then would you need to demolish walls to expand the kitchen ? That could get pretty pricey if load bearing. Will the existing kitchen be ok even if you can knock walls or will the kitchen units need to be replaced too ?

    1. Is the main waste pipe at the front or back of the house?
    2. And is your planned upstairs Jax at the front or the back of the house?
    3. Is the current ground floor Jax near the proposed upstairs Jax?
