Who's liable for disposal of dumped green waste?

    Hi,

Who's liable? The landowner or the sitting tenant who has signed a letting agreement and is under it currently?

That's IF the cnut who dumped it doesn't remove it pronto. Of course, if he doesn't, then his relation won't get the field again and he'll still get it all back onto his property. With safeguarded proofs that it is his.

    Thanks

Can you flesh this out a bit??

One person's green waste is another person's manure.

What exactly is it and under what intention was it put there for?

It was put there to save going to the dump. It's dumping by a cheeky third party.
It's branches, trimmings etc. It would fill 3-4 8x4 trailers with creel's.
So it's illegal dumping to save money and make a fool out of a widow.

    .

Well if you go to the council the widow may be held responsible by them.

Exactly my question. Is it the landowner or the land-user who is liable? I know it's not the scum who dumped it.

The litter warden comes out here. We tell them the name of the person who has dumped the stuff on our land and they visit them

Load it into a trailer with shear grab and return to sender if you know who they are

That will be a last resort as, believe it or not, that's dumping.
I just want to know who's liable as is, tenant or land-owner.
