Hi All,

Looking for some advice on the best insurance options for a 3 months road trip around New Zealand and Australia for my girlfriend and I. We currently have an Irish Life Health policy but they have stated that cover becomes void if you are out of the country for more than 31 days. We will be doing a lot of outdoor stuff so on top of the typical lost baggage etc travel policy, we want to have decent hospital cover and all that side of stuff if the worst does happen.

We will probably keep the Irish Life policy going on the side even though it is void in order to not have a break in the insurance but could someone suggest any companies to go with from previous experiences? I've seen pretty good prices from World Nomads and getcover.ie so far.
