Seem to be a few looked after examples in Autotrader UK. Talking about 10k/gbp for a 2005 with reasonable mileage (say 80k miles).

6 litre V8 with about 400bhp, 0-60 just a smidge over 5 seconds. A lot of fun to drive if you remember the Top Gear of old review.....

Anyone see one in the flesh? Wonder if any made their way to Ireland?

Am not looking at the VRT. Or Insurance quotes. Definitely not looking. Definitely not....................

A customer about 3 years ago had one in the carpark, just bought. I go out to add to my appreciation. My lasting memory was when he left the carpark. I can still feel the V8 sound in my lungs .

    Get it.

Seen a few in Oz though there actually not that common over there. Lovely sound from them.

I was in a Commodore with that same 6.0l engine (AMFI I think their called ) before, serious power from them. Just pulled without any struggle up to 230 kmh. I also believe some of them have cylinder shutdown as well.

Might get some better info on the Holden forums.

There was one in the Cannonball this weekend, and a VXR8. I was going the opposite way so didnt notice the reg, but the tax bill would make an Irish reg one very rare.

Hah! I'll be buying something in the new year when (hopefully) some cash comes in.

I'm tempted but I'll probably go a little bit more sensible and get an S3, 2014/15.

Would love too see (and hear) a Monaro in the flesh mind!

Not quite in the flesh, but here's Stealthyspeeder's Monaro, from quite a long time ago (hence the poor quality).
