Been noticeably very slow in Mayo Galway area too, for the last 2 weeks I would say.
And not just one device either, its affected us all here so it's not just my phone.
Saying 4g sometimes when it's barely able to load a colourful page.
And it's fine in Limerick, but as we drive north it just tapers off..

It is very slow on all my devices. The wifi signal is very good but it can take ages to load certain pages.

Have you ran a speedtest? What is your connection?

The network speed says 72 Mbps at the moment but it's up and down. Was at 35 Mbps at one point.

Yeah that is a bit inconsistent. Even with those speeds you should be able to open websites instantly. Any idea what you are getting with your upload speed?

You can log a fault with Eir.

I was sure my SIM card was acting up. Popped into the Eir shop in Patrick Street Cork and was told they are upgrading to 5G and hence the inconsistency in internet.

I can open sites that have mostly text quickly enough but sites with pics take a lot longer, sometimes not even opening at all. Was perfect a week ago.
