Think that's 392 plus delivery 29 EUR. Might be worth checking Richersounds which includes 6 year guarantee for GBP 389 or 419 EUR

You can’t get it to play your Spotify music without going through the app compared to the Alexa devices which do this when activated by voice alone.

I suppose what I mean is all the things that the Amazon devices do are not available in Ireland to beam owners as the software isn’t tied up or integrated yet
Maybe there is some workaround but it’s an awful pity as the sound is fantastic

I have a Beam (€234 from Littlewoods thanks to Bargain Alerts). It's now using Google Assistant but for ages I was using Alexa and Spotify (Family) worked perfectly. TuneIn was occasionally flakey for BBC.

For music it worked just like the echo. Spotify was set as the default music player.

I got rid of my echo after I got the Beam.

Sonos get a lite version of Alexa, as in I don't think you can make phone calls from your beam. But all the other stuff works, play x song from spotify, turn on x TV, turn off x lights.

No idea why yours isn't working. It definitely should. My only Alexa is through 2 Sonos speakers and I can do all of the above
