What car to get > need driver seat at 90 degrees like a chair / Low CC (back problem)

Hi,

Friend who has spine prob looking for a car with a car with 90 degree driver chair or near that if poss ...

A low CC / 1.4 Automatic ... or nearest to that

Anyone any ideas what to get / not get?

Normally this functionality would be added to a standard car seat, or a special seat fitted if there really is a spinal problem.

For comfort and adjustability for most people, you can't look past Volvo. You'll have trouble finding anything below a 1.6 diesel however.

Something a bit more upright may be better however, Honda Jazz or the likes.

Go for a car with an adjustment wheel for the backrest as opposed to a lever with 4 or 5 preset positions. This rules out a lot of Japanese cars.

Depends on needs as in cc so don't rule out bigger or smaller engine depending on year.

Would the golf plus be a runner or most SUV types out there now....

Suppose depending on budget too.
