A friend has a car :-) Yeah I know it sounds like its mine ....

Are you insured at all to drive it?

Will the NCT centre allow you to drive it away if it fails?

    Thanks ...

They won’t let you drive it away if it’s deemed dangerous/not roadworthy or whatever they call it.

Thanks ... so to clarify ...

The ins co say its ok to drive the car if its "road worthy" = Valid NCT ?

So in the event of driving away from an NCT centre with NON CRITICAL issues - still insured ...

+ Bring NCT apt on the way there ....

Every insurance company is different. You have to ask or read the policy.
