New back door installed, sensor removed, now can't set alarm.

    We just got new back doors for the house and the sensor was removed when they were installing. The alarm can't be set now. Can I reattach it? Pic included

    Yes. But you need a magnet on the door as well to close the contact.

    Does this look right. Pic attached. Just don't want to mess up the new door by putting in the wrong spot

    Does it work now? I had the same issue when I changed my front door. taped the magnets together.

    Yeah it works now. Just used that strong tape instead of screwing it on
