Transborder workers relief

    Hi all,

    I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this in particular,

    Some background, short IT contract gig in 2018 for UK firm, day rate contract but paid through a UK payroll firm so all UK tax paid

    Contract was ca. 17 weeks with 3-4 days onsite with client and 1-2 days at home in ROI.

    For two of those weeks I either stayed in UK with friends over the weekend or travelled to another EU state for tourism, i.e did not return to ROI.

    For transborder relief to be claimed, it states.

    >=13 weeks employment
    Foreign tax paid and not due refund
    Less than thirty incidental days (25)
    And at least one day per week worked in ROI.

    It seems like except for the last one, I could claim this.

    Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation?

    Thanks in advance.
