New house should be finished in the next month or two but need to deal with tiler in the cork area
Met with the company that are providing the tiles on behalf on the developer and the quoted
€1800 to do the utility ,kitchen and hallway and then an extra €280 for the downstairs bathroom .This includes the grout, labour and tiles
Tiles we picked were around €22-30 sq2m

What would be the typical price per sq2m for a tiler
Also would people recommend tiling before the kitchen goes don or after the kitchen goes down

    measurement are downstairs
    Kitchen Dining 6.7m x 4.0m
    Utility 3.0m x 1.6m
    WC 1.6m x 1.5m

    upstairs
Bathroom 2.7m x 1.8m floor only (developer providing wall tiles)

    Any help appreciated

So the material alone is around 1k
1k for labour - probably a little expensive as it is prob about 2-3 days work (in total keeping in mind he's to come back for grouting)...depends on the number of cuts etc, but since there are 3 separate rooms ~35sqm of that will be more work than 35 sqm in a rectangular room.
For the little money you might save shopping around, Id stick with the builder as he
might be easier to get hold of if you have problems down the line.
you are keeping him on the line for everything. If you start getting other people in, the builder has someone to blame - say e.g. one of the joists was bouncy and your tile cracked. The tiler blames the joist, the builder blames the tiling. Not worth the hassle for the saving.

You haven’t told us what type / size of tiles

More than 2/3 days for a lad that is only doing 1 house. 2/3 days may be right if your doing next door etc
