Would any "right honourable gentleman/lady " know the answer to this? I have a 3ft gap between the slatted house wall to the roof and when it's windy it blows a lot of rain on to the cubicles. I need the air as its not very high. Are the vented sheeting good. And should I take off some more side sheeting and put on vented sheets to replace the air it will block. I don't have problems with lack of air but it can be stuffy in mild days

Only solution that won’t restrict air flow and last is Yorkshire board.

9”*1* boards at 3 inch spacing outside and 7*1 with 1.5” spacing inside. No rain, no draught, fresh air but expensive.

Vented sheeting blocks up quickly, gale breaker is next but doesn’t look very well

Could you step back the sheeting so that there is a gap underneath. Like this

Or hang hinged side panels, that can be opened in and out. You'd see them a lot in slatted sheds.

Love the text drawing, simple and gets the point across

One could also try alternating every second one

Sow a row of trees 20 yards out from the shed if you have the space
