I see that Calor have brought their offer of a free gas boiler when you switch over to them as a new customer.

Currently have oil heating at present but have been thinking of switching to gas for a while

Just wondering if anyone would have a rough idea of how much it would cost to get gas installed, all the plumbing etc..?

A ball park figure of sorts

totally depends on if there is gas nearby (on your road, in the estate, etc)

gasnetworks.ie will give costs for installing a meter (per metre) after that its a new boiler and a boiler install/pipework (which should be under 4K)

Thank you for that. No there is no natural gas, we would have to get LPG tanks.

Appreciate the response, I'll look into this further.

Better off sticking with oil. Calor will own you!!! Notoriously high prices. Don’t be fooled by the free boiler offer

Thanks, appreciate it. I think you may have to pay rent on the LPG tank too. I think you're right I'll probably just upgrade the oil boiler
